MAI HCD NEWS: MECHANISM REMODELLED TO ENHANCE COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF MAI APPRENTICESHIP UNDERGRADUATES PDF Print E-mail

Tuesday 24th April 2012 – Ability to comprehend theoretical knowledge in science and engineering without the ability to communicate the knowledge amongst peers and superiors simply does not suffice for a graduate engineer to survive and perform well upon employment. On the other hand, communication without self-confidence and self-esteem too will erode the potential of an engineer to outshine in his or her career in any workplace. It is frequently vindicated that failure to communicate amongst engineering graduates are due to their poor command of English language. However, industry feedback claimed that failure in communications too are more often demonstrated by the newly graduated engineers where English language are less used in their respective workplaces, attributing the failure to lack of self-confidence and low self-esteem to communicate inherited by the graduates.
