Procurement & Logistics

Purchasing executives are in charge of making sure the supply of materials, tools and other necessities are sufficient and delivered timely. This can include but are not limited to raw materials, moulds and dies.

A logistics executive ensure parts promptly reach the client through careful and meticulous planning. Parts that are delivered late will cause manufacturing lines to be halted and results in financial losses for the client. However, parts that are delivered too early also causes problems for the client, as they are forced to allocate valuable factory space to hold incoming stock. Logistical planning is able to mitigate both these risks and help keep production lean.
