IPC is one of the various human capital development programs developed by MAI in consultation with industry players. IPC aims to produce skilled operators and technicians through industry specific modules and on-job training.


The IPC initiative fills the gap faced by the industry through the development of a skilled local workforce that can satisfy the ever challenging environment of vehicle and component manufacturing, which is rapidly evolving in higher technological complexity.


The defined structure of the IPC program focuses on producing multi-skilled manpower tailor-made to the automotive industry, covering areas from manufacturing to after sales.


During the six months IPC program, trainees are exposed to industry knowledge, handson skills and the working culture of the automotive industry. Trainees will then be absorbed into the industry, either in OEMs, vendors, service centers, etc. Due to this exposure, most IPC graduates enter the workforce with higher starting salaries compared with their counterparts.
